Star Wars: The Force Awakens premieres this Friday and if you haven’t already been psyched for the film, here’s a few things that you can squeeze in this week to get you excited for the latest movie!

1. Play Star Wars games

The release of Star Wars Battlefront could not have come at a better time. Easily one of the most graphically impressive games right now, the latest from the Battlefront series does not disappoint. However, there’s also a rich history of games from LucasArts that have been in the works as long as the movies have.

2. Read the new Star Wars Comics

While the revival of Marvel’s comic line came at the cost of the rest of the extended universe, it’s hard to ignore how well done all of new Star Wars comics are. Alongside a main Star Wars title, there’s ongoing series for Darth Vader and Kanaan, while there’s plenty of limited series for Princess Leia, Chewbacca, and Lando. There’s also upcoming titles like Obi-Wan & Anakin and a C-3PO special! It’s a good jumping on point for people looking to get more out of the original trilogy.

3. Geek Out With Toys

Whether you’re a fan or not, it’s hard to ignore the excessive volume of merchandise that Star Wars has encompassed. Among the hordes of toys, the BB-8 Sphero Droid, the awesome LEGO sets, and the Kotobukiya Black Collection Figures.

4. Check Out The Clone Wars

The Clone Wars TV series bridges Episodes II & III. Both Cartoon Network series work to fill in the gaps and show the struggles of what’s going on in the extended prequel universe. From beautiful animation to excellent storytelling, the series does a great job at capturing the spirit of the movies.

5. Rewatch The Entire Series

There’s still plenty of time to sit down and watch everything that has led up to this moment. You could watch them in release order or in chronological order, or even just watch the ones you want. It’s never too late to see what all the hype is about when you think about how much this one franchise has done for pop culture, touching the lives of millions.
